Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

As both boxers engaged in the usual face-off, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really happening.
